Wayla was an application that helps people create digital documentaries for live events. For the startups launch a handful of artists and designers were asked to created artwork based on the prompt: An event you wish you could have attended. Herzog chose the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing. The making of this shot involved a 1976 model television purchased on Craigslist for $10, an American flag froze in a block of ice, and a bit of luck.
